01 / SCOPE
What this notice covers
KandyBooth is a Chicago-area photo booth service. This notice explains how KandyBooth handles information sent through the public event inquiry form and information you send when asking a privacy question.
The inquiry starts a request for KandyBooth to review and respond. It does not create a confirmed booking, reserve a date, or create a reusable customer profile.
02 / INFORMATION
Information you share
The form asks for your name, email, event type, event date or an indication that the date is not known yet, and the service options you selected. It also records your permission for KandyBooth to respond.
You may also choose to share a phone number, venue or city, guest count, and other event details. The system keeps the selection and planning estimate shown with your request.
Request-related records—such as the page the form came from, the time received, a public reference, and technical values used to handle retries safely—are also stored with the inquiry.
03 / USE
How information is used
KandyBooth uses the inquiry information to:
- review your event, service choices, availability, and quote needs;
- respond using your email and, if you provide it, your phone number;
- keep the request in an authorized staff queue and record follow-up;
- prevent duplicate submissions and maintain the reliability of the request process.
The form permission is only for responding to this event request. It does not sign you up for marketing or give consent to automated text messages.
04 / SYSTEMS
Systems and service providers
Your submission moves through KandyBooth's public website, application server, database, and authenticated staff dashboard. Authorized KandyBooth staff use that dashboard to review and follow up on the request.
When an internal email alert is configured, an email delivery service and the destination mailbox process a minimized notice. That notice contains the request reference and a link to the protected staff dashboard—not your name, contact details, event details, or form notes.
The event-request system does not store raw IP addresses as a business record, browser cookie IDs, visitor or session IDs, device fingerprints, campaign attribution, or cross-site journey data. Website infrastructure may temporarily observe network information for routing, security, and abuse prevention.
If you choose to visit an external service such as Instagram, that service handles your visit under its own privacy terms.
05 / SECURITY
Security and access
Inquiry records are available through an authenticated admin area to staff with permission to work with event requests. KandyBooth limits the personal information placed in internal alerts and does not intentionally place prospect details in queue identifiers or ordinary application logs.
KandyBooth uses reasonable access and data-minimization practices, but no website or storage system can promise perfect security.
06 / RETENTION
Retention and your requests
KandyBooth is still formalizing fixed retention periods for different inquiry outcomes. Until an approved automatic schedule is in place, inquiry records remain stored and available only to authorized staff. Moving a completed request out of the active work queue does not delete it.
You may ask KandyBooth to review the information connected to your inquiry, correct it, or delete it. Requests are handled individually because an automated export and deletion process is not currently active. Include your request reference if you have it so KandyBooth can locate the right record.
07 / CHANGES
Children and policy changes
The inquiry form is intended for people arranging events, not for children to submit personal information about themselves. If you believe a child has sent personal information through the form, contact KandyBooth so the record can be reviewed.
KandyBooth may update this notice when the inquiry process or its data practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when the notice was last updated.
